I was thinking of taking a dragonmark as my 3rd level feat, when I hit 3rd level. Don't know which yeat - it might even be an Aberrant one! Anyways, since I know there's a dragonmark theme to this adventure, I was wondering if there was a way we could fit this into the game (also, I thought it'd be good to give advance warning).

Weapon, having repaired himself while resting, offers the knotted rope again. "Perhaps a false lead should be lowered first," he offers.

Silvanon folds his arms and looks at the rest of the group.

"Last time I went down that rope, I turned into an elven pin-cushion. I'm not looking to be bait again."

The large warforged shrugged. "If you all wish to bear my weight, I can climb down first."

"Don't be daft -- I'm not sure the rest o' us could hold the rope with you on it."

Silvanon sighs audibly.

"If the none of ya are going to be talking any sense, or anything 'at all, then I'm gonna have to go down the damned chute first again."

"Why do I get myself into these things again?" He mutters to himself.

OOC: What I'd like to do is climb down the rope until he is about 10ft from the bottom (and presumably still hidden from view. Then jump down (using a tumble check to treat the fall as 10' less) and crouch and hide if possible.

Tumble = +9
Use Rope = +5
Hide = +8
Jump = +4

Silvanon climbs down the rope, jumping down the last bit. A quick look around shows nothing more threatening than a few rat chewed kobold bodies.

After giving a silent thanks to the Dark Six, Silvanon motions to the others at the top of the chute that everything is ok.

While he waits for them to drop down the shaft, he take a look around, making sure nothing out of the ordinary is around.
