at low levels its kinda fair and by the time your dex bonus is super high, you shouldn't still have this power

!!! If I had a high-level rogue with, say, a 26 Dex, I would definitely keep a power that would let me shift 8 squares after the attack -- even if the attack itself was kind of piddly.

Unless, of course, there are higher-level equivalent powers for the Aerialist that also let me shift a number of squares = my Dex bonus.

Right, and since many rogues use daggers ([W]=1d4), the fact that an attack grants only 1[W] of damage isn't that important.
