Is anyone else as excited as I am about the OBJECTIVELY CORRECT decision to set Fantastic Four in a stylized (re. Kirby-ized) version of the early 1960s?

Yup, excellent decision.

More stylized Marvel movies would be appreciated all around.

I'm not sure that Doom will be a Tony Variant - I suspect that it's more likely that RDJ has been enjoying being a chameleon actor lately, and enjoyed working with the Russos and his Mad Marvel Money that he is happy to just keep the Mask On and do all his acting with his eyes and a developed faux-eastern European accent.

If you just need a Good Actor and you never see his face, why NOT RDJ?

Or this is a version of Tony Stark, only he was orphaned shortly after birth and taken in by the Von Dooms and raised as Victor? Also, highly likely that his family history gets changed or never mentioned, as being negative about the Romani peoples has become one of those sensitive subjects. Not really sure how to phrase it without opening a huge can of worms, but we can see what WotC went through in the rewrites for all the Ravenloft content.
