'Man-Thing' has got to be one of the most unfortunately named monsters ever... especially considering all of the mobile tree-branches.

I never read the comic but it seems like it would fit in with the *bad* movies that SciFi has been running as of late.

Not a good sign. Take the poor man's Swamp Thing (already a second tier character for DC Comics) and make a bad movie out of it that nobody will even see. :\

IIRC, it was supposed to go theatrical, then direct-to-video, and now it's going straight to TV. Doesn't fill me with much hope.
