Maure Castle: Question on a BBEG (Spoilers)

The golem was meant to be invulnerable except for the two weapons apparent which could slay it.

Thanks Mr. Kuntz for coming over here and answering my question. The internet is oft a negative place, so its really nice when I can get a nearly instant answer directly from the designer like this.

Here's another question: Spell Immunity as written makes you totally immune to any spell that allows spell resistance. Would the TIG just be totally immune to all spells, or would damaging spells that don't allow SR harm the thing?

Any and all opinions welcomed.

I probably would have run the TIG as a standard iron golem as far as spell immunity goes. I hadn't noticed the difference in the stat block making it immune to rust and whatever else, (though I did notice it has damage reduction of 10/- ). It think it would be best to do whatever you personally think is right for your game. If your party is wanting to take over the dungeon and use it for themselves, then I'd rightly make the TIG nigh indestructible.
