Maxed out con GMing?

I'm signing up to run some games at Arisia (Boston MA con) this year, and I've realized I have... well, lets say quite a few games I'd like to run. Its friday evening to sunday afternoon, and I don't party so I will be sober for the entire thing.

That said, a quick poll for those in the know. How many 3 hr RPGs could I run in one weekend before most people here would catagorize me as insane? (and I don't mean in a good way).

Boston, you say?

If it's not too much trouble, do you have details on Arisia?

I live in the Boston area.

Also, I'd run no more than 3 or 4 games, but that's me.

Thanks! :)

7 is, in fact, the magic number.

Arisia is much more a sci fi/fantasy con than a gaming con. It usually has interesting guests, lots of discussion panels, and some gaming. It's pretty big; last year it had over 2300 attendees! One of my players (Aravis) is one of the five founding members, so I know a bit about it - and so does their web site.

While a touch off topic, I perhaps should mention that there will also be live-action games running at Arisia. The programming bigwigs are currently looking for folks who would like to run larps, so if you're nterested in doing so, give them a holler - program@arisia.org

Ut!

Thanks for the info, guys.

I am, of course, working that weekend. :(

Apart from the gaming, it would have been pretty cool to meet Harry Turtledove.

Ah well, maybe next year.

Thanks again.

hmmm... does that include time for the Maskerade? I'm going to be making a sizable investment in sewing, braiding and athletic tape, I wouldn't want to miss it.

as long as I can't fit in all the gaming available to me, is there really a significant difference?
