May-August WotC Product Catalogue

Hmm... Thirty Years of Adventure? I have a sinking suspicion that will be a compilation of D&D's "best of..." adventures reworked for 3.5e.

A'koss.

And why would that be so bad? Especially if they took some of the better 2e adventures and updated them (as opposed to 3.0, which would make little sense)...I rather liked the two Dungeon adventure anthologies a few years back, I'd like to see a bit of that again.

Of course, I'd also like to have all the old Dungeon mags in PDF format available on a cd for me to re-use and convert in my own spare time but that likely won't happen anytime soon. :(

Only Serpent Kingdoms has an interest from me.

And finally another title I can admit to having some involvement with, but otherwise can't talk about (yet). At least not for another 8 months. Well, I can say that it was also written in equal parts by Ed Greenwood and Eric L. Boyd, and I just recently finished pouring my heart and soul into my portion of it. Hey, you try working on a book at the same time you're (wife is) having a baby.

That is the complete entry in the catalog, only listed on the Coming Fall 2004 page.

I know this is an ask, but I don't suppose you want to type in any othe rentries do you? Esp. the planar one.

Eberron is probably the first thing that I'll check out.

Too bad about the 30 years of D&D. It sounds self-congratulatory. I'd like to see what D&D Basic is all about, but something inside my head is "Dungeon & Dragons: The Adventure Begins" and "DragonStrike".

Now that I've seen the description of the 30 years book, I think it looks like a useless dust-gatherer designed to live on a coffee table. Too bad. A reworking of the best adventures of the past 30 years would be a must have for me.

So now the only title on that list that I will definately be buying is D20 Future. There are a few maybes: Planar Handbook and Serpent Kingdoms. Since I've sworn off buying any more fantasy campaign settings except for Iron Kingdoms if it ever comes out, Eberron holds no interest for me.

I've been longing to start a RP club for teens at my library, so I will definately check out the Basic Set with that in mind, but if I buy it, it will be with library funds, for use as program material rather than for me personally.

(An interesting side note: I buy multiple copies of nearly all the WotC stuff and most of the Kalamar and Scarred Lands stuff for my library. But if you were to come in looking for it, you would find very little. Why? It's always checked out! And I'm pleased to say that I've recently had a parent of a teen patron ask me which D&D books she should buy her son for Xmas, since at this point buying them would be cheaper than paying all the overdue fines he keeps running up.:D )

Bingo. Add a few plastic pre-painted minis. Nice set to introduce new players to the game.

Oh dear...

All those releases and not a single one interests me :(

Maybe I'm getting to critical with old age...

Nothing really there for me either. The only thing that might've been is the Serpent Kingdoms, but if it's anything like Unapproachable East (with which I wasn't impressed), I won't be salivating at the thought of adding it to my collection.

<sigh> Oh well <sigh>

It's good to see WotC will be doing some adventures again.
I'm not sure what you mean, here. Other than the Eberron "support" adventure, it looks like WotC is sticking to their guns and offering no adventures at all.

Well, it's out, but unfortunatly I haven't gotten my hands on it.

If any of you good folks have, I would love to see what D&D, Star Wars and d20 Modern books are due out during that time.

Please share the love!

Thanks.

Is there any lowdown on what novels WotC are releasing in this time?
