I'm one of them.
Me too! Me too! :D

This is the 3rd book Michelle and I will share writing and/or developing credits for. A cookie to anyone that gets the other 2 (and I think you *really* have to be a d20 junkie to get the answer :D)

Path of the Sword is one (I only art directed Path of Shadow).

A Game of Thrones RPG by Guardians of Order is the other. :)

Oooohhh...vitality/wounds for D&D? Very cool! NOW we are talking about some hardcore grittier gaming. I have toyed with the idea before, but I did not want to do the work of adjusting Threat Ranges and such for all of the weapons in the system. Hopefully they will have a quick and easy way of handling this.

Dungeon Master: The red dragon arcs his neck, lunging for Sir Grand Duke Epic Warrior of All Creation. You see the scorching hot bile within its mouth as his jaws part.....*roll*.....and his teeth gnash down about your torso.

Player of the High Level Fighter: *pales*...you mean..a critical hit?

DM: Yup. I hope you have more than 43 wound points [or whatever one is the most critical; I cannot remember which is more like hit points].

Player: WHAT?!? A single crit. will kill my character???

DM: Think about it; a shark can tear off a surfer's arm. A Red Dragon's head is the size of a TRUCK. Anything above your character's navel can now be found in the dragon's stomach. Everything waist-down....is now laying in a puddle of his own blood at the dragon's feet. Combat is deadly; now we have a game mechanic to further separate us form Diablo and EverKrack.

Heh

You have more tolerant players than I do-- IMG I would have to add this

Player *

Screw you monkey. If I wanted to play grim and gritty I would play another system --

than add the sound of slamming books

As for the topic (and the lineup) I might be interested in the Cleric Splat, UA if I am still playing D&D (thinking about quitting gaming actually) Otherwise and oddly the Starwars Minis are kind of coll though collectable yuch

I'll be getting Complete Divine, Planar Handbook, Serpent Kingdoms, Races of Stone, and D20 Future. I'll be taking a look at Eberron to see what it is like, as will I do with the Map Folio.

I plan on getting Planar handbook, Races of Stone, Complete Divine, some Star Wars boosters, and D20 Future. I may add Ebberon to the list, but I'm going to give that a wait and see rating as of right now.
