My brother picked up two of them last Friday night at the venue where we run Mage Knight. We went to play our game and when we went back up front, only one was left (from about 15 total).

Note that the one fighting the knight on horseback is more expensive. Most of the dragons were $13, but that one was about $25.

I picked up a Komodo Clan dragon at WalMart the other night, I think the price was $7.98 or something close to that. It was the only one on the shelf, the person I talked to said that was the only one she remembers seeing, although they had lots of that one dragon earlier in the day.

I bought all 6 from ebay for about $80, including shipping.

I got them in today. They are sweet! My favorites are the Komodo and the Water dragons. The Fire is really nice too but has really small wings.

See, if I buy this one, I'll just replace the rubber ball with a Barbie doll head....after I paint on a grimace of agony on the doll's face and add some blood and part of a spinal cord hanging loosely out of the neck hole.

Don't forget to post pictures.

After seeing all of them on display at my local game store I think i'll end up with all of them except the Eternel one. The Fire and even Water look spectacular, I bought the Komodo as it was the only one they were down to a single copy of. $15 CAN is ridicously cheap. I sat the Komodo next to my Huge Red Dragon and the size difference, while noticable, isn't as big as I thought but the difference in paint quality is astounding. Say what you will about Todd MacFarlane (and I've said plenty over the years) his company puts out some great toys!

Went back to Toys 'R' Us, with a $10 coupon, but the choice of which dragon to get had been taken from me - Only the fire dragon was left.

I have decided to sta up the water and fire dragons as their own critters instead of trying to make them fit a standard chromatic.

Water is going to be an aquatic blue dragon; flightless, and with an electric shock aura while underwater instead of a breath weapon. He uses his 'breath weapon' and every critter within 30' of the dragon's base is hit, with the normal Reflex save applying. Above water he has the normal lightning bolt breath. Alternately while underwater it can deal nonlethal damage, thhis lesser shock is primarilly a hunting tool rather than a weapon. No flying, but I am allowing it to use its wings to perform 'wingovers' while in the water. Greedy, runs a 'protection racket' on local shipping.

The fire dragon is going to be a fire and ice type dragon - from the equivelant of Iceland. Fire breath, frost aura. Immunity to both fire and cold. Again flightless, in this case because the wings were crippled while it was a wyrmling. Territorial in the extreme, any parlay takes place under strict, but known, protocols. The dragon's services are for hire... Hrymefyre dragon, from the Hrymefyre Islands - a volcanic island chain.

Both get an ability to blend in with their environs which removes the Size penalty from Hide checks.

I still want the Sorcerer, I have decided that it is a Red Dragon with an Orb of Green Dragon Control, I will swap the orb for a marble. He was sold out.

If the Komodo Dragon is available at Wally World, so I may get that as well.

The Auld Grump

*EDIT* Ended up getting the Eternal Clan dragon as well, with another coupon. :)

what did you use to glue the base on?

Mike

I used a lot of 5 minute epoxy, then flocked around the base with sand and Games Workshop 'Grass'*. Added tufts of static grass to the sand, painted the static grass green and tan.

The Auld Grump

*GW Grass is sawdust dyed green...
