Mearls has got the books!

Oh, great. We're going to hunt him down, probably wait in ambush for him, take him out, and then loot his body for the books?

I knew it!

4e is too much like WoW! :D

Great, does that mean we have to camp his house or WotC HQ?

And if so, does he respawn giving us endless amounts of the books to distribute to the "guild"?

And this just proves how bad games are for young minds. People being to believe they can murder anyone and he will just respawn!
That's not true, kids! If you kill a real person, you can't just wait for him to respawn. You have to collect enough diamond dusst to cast a raise dead spell, first. And you'll have to find a Cleric, first! This is no trivial matter! So, think about a PHB is really worth 5,000 gold pieces in diamond dust before you go on a killing spree. (Not even talking about the fact that Mearls gonna lose a level, and this might mean he could lose his D&D Designer Prestige Class Levels!)

For 3.x this is true, but remember he has already swapped to 4th where D&D Designer is an epic destiny, and death is a mere speedbump for him, and he will possibly respawn every dawn.

That's assuming he is already epic. But I think he is still "just" Paragon - he is an exemplar of what a game designer can be. Monte might be epic already, considering that he seemed to have fulfilled his Epic Destiny of becoming a novellist already...

Great.

Ok guys, give the 'tank' at least five sunders before you start DPS'ing, this one can't hold aggro and thinks Taunt is better than Shield Bash for threat.

Sigh, just can't get good tanks these days :P
