Mearls is your hostage!

So, assuming you were going to have a major D&D developer like I don't know, Mike Mearls in your neighborhood and had a small army of goons to "encourage" him to leak some D&D info.

What would you ask him to reveal in order to be set free?

My vote would be multiclassing.

I swear I'm not a crazy man and will not harm you or detain you, Mike. Tell Cherise from I-Con to get her bosses to vouch for me.

"Alright, pop quiz: The airport. The Rouse with a PHB and one hostage, he's using Mearls for cover, he's almost to the plane. You're a hundred feet away."

"Shoot the hostage.""

"What?"

"Take Mearls out of the equation. Go for the good wound and The Rouse can't get to the plane with Mearls then go for the PHB. Clear shot"

"You are deeply nuts, you know that? 'Shoot the hostage'... jeez..."

multi classing as well......kidnap and get him to NZ .I'll hold him in the farm shed, we are at the back of beyond, no one would look in NZ for him..we'll get the LOT!

I want him to tell me the weapon stats for clubbing a man to death with an adamantine-shod spellbook. I've always wanted a bigass metal book as a weapon ever since Shadow Hearts. Beyond that...rules for non-standard rogues...where's the option of sneak-attack with a dire pick? Dwarves can be rogues too, ya know...

After I fight off your gang of thugs and rescue Mr. Mearls, he might perhaps reward me by showing me the write up of a random paragon path. Something along the lines of the elf and rogue write ups we've seen so far.

Multiclassing would be my second choice.

See, now it's a multi-alignment thread! ;)

If we have him hostage, why would we only ask him one thing? Multiclassing, then rituals, then, if he's still conscious, non-combat encounters.
