medieval european creatures

Does anyone happen to have a list, or know of a web site with a list, of creatures from medieval european mythology (around 1000 to 1600)? I'm having some difficulty figuring out which creatures are from ancient mythology only, which ones are from medieval european mythology only, and which ones have different versions in both ancient mythology and medieval european mythology. For example, the unicorn and wyvern are medieval creatures, while the griffin was an ancient creature adopted by medieval mythology. I'm looking for information like that.

Have you tried the Medieval Bestiary

It quotes both medieval sources and Pliny the elder (Roman) so if Pliny mentions it you can assume it was known from antiquity otherwise assume it is medieval.

Lots of animals are mentioned in a way that makes them 'good for fantasy' too
