Medusae the easy way

Cheiromancer

Adventurer
[edit]
This character kinda does an end-run around Savage Species. There you need 10 levels just to get a basic, 6 HD Medusa. Katie is a Medusa (who can also change into an annis) with 10 levels of Druid at 12th character level. Anti-magic fields take away her armor and dex, but really don't affect her much worse than they would affect a "real" medusa.

[edit] It appears that Katie needs either polymorph self or a NATURAL alternate form, alter self ability, etc.. The class ability to wild shape does not, technically, satisfy the requirements (check what your DM says!)[/edit]

Notes: The assume supernatural ability feat requires either polymorph self, or a NATURAL ability to change shape. The spell "Alter Self" is not sufficient.

The assumed shape may be dispelled (even if due to wildshape). Caster level = character level. As the highest level effect, it will be the first thing that falls in an area dispel magic. Extra Wildshape lets it be assumed twice more.
