MEG's D20 Future setting

Hey everyone,

I just thought I'd let you know that it looks like things have fallen through on this one. The MEG guys have been great and very supportive, but they've got a full schedule and I need more time to complete the setting than was originally planned for. At the moment it's a little over halfway done (and believe me, it's a lot of text!) so I plan to complete it and see if anyone picks it up when I do.

Thanks to everyone here for all the support. Seeing your interest in it definitely gives me the incentive to finish it up. Hopefully it'll meet your expectations.

Western...check, d20 Future...check...sounds cool. Hey Moridin, send me an email and let's talk.

STANG! That's just not fair! Any chance MEG & Kiln could work something out where Kiln could release it when you're done? Just curious. I KNOW this supplement would be fantastic! The subject matter (space westerns) is a fabulous idea (Long Live Firefly / Serenity)!

Oh, don't worry, the project's not dead. Sometimes publishers and authors just can't connect on certain timeframes, that's all. Thanks for the offer on Kiln, but I need to worry about finishing it first and foremost. Until I have a full manuscript I don't want to even think about publishers. This one's sort of my pet project, something I've been kicking around in my head between bouts of other freelance work.

How about Outland? Its' a 1981 Sean Connery vehicle that was effectively High Noon in space. A so-so movie, but it definetly has the Western-Movie feel to it.
