Melee Range

What's the difference between the range:

Melee touch
and
Melee 1

Melee 1 is restricted to only attack 1 square away, but melee touch is as far as the the creature can reach(usually 1 square). A Goliath with the Stoneblessed PP would have a reach of 2 squares so they would be able to attack, with a power that has the melee touch range, 2 squares away.

What's the difference between the range:

Melee touch
and
Melee 1

Melee 1 means just that. 1 square. Nothing short of a specific exception to that power can change it.

Melee touch means your reach not counting your weapon. Anything that increases your reach that is not related to your weapon extends the reach of Melee touch powers. Wardens have a few guardian forms that extend reach, goliaths' racial paragon path extends your reach by 1, there's an epic destiny or two that does, and these ALL affect Melee touch powers.
