In one group I was in, the Rogue would pick a lock, then "Summon, Wall of Dwarf". our two Dwarven Chuck Norrisi would step up and clear the room.

My son was playing a fighter who seemed to get killed every single adventure. (Fortunately, the party was of high enough level that resurrection magic was well within their grasp.) Once, after being devoured by an advanced behir, his only comment was, "Eh - I've been killed by worse."

Just recently, our party needed to get a written message to the leader of an unfriendly group of ghost troops blocking our way through a mountain pass. Said leader was behind a portcullis and on top of a tower.

My response? "Craft: Paper Airplane can be used untrained, right?"

Said in response to learning that a certain artifact had trapped a portion of a dead god's soul:

"Oh, no... it's Bane in a Box!"

Best example of talking smack, from my current Eberron campaign:

The PCs were being taunted by a rakshasa enemy via a long distance projection. He was a variation of an ak'chazar rakshasa from the MM3, with white fur and black stripes. When the rakshasa dropped his disguise, the group's alienist (played by Rackhir) said, "Ah, you have white fur! That's good - you'll match our drapes!"

"Poisoned daggers are so cool!" (said by a rogue moments before rolling a 1 and poisoning himself with the dagger)
"Ok, that's bad luck! Poisoned daggers ARE cool!"(said by the same rogue moments after he poisoned himself and moments before he rolled another consecutive 1 trying to hit one of the enemies....)
"That's because poison is evil and I'm a good thief! It's a sign!" (said by same rogue after selling the daggers)

"Enemies all around us! Draw your weapons!" (said by an Epic NPC to the low lvl characters, hours after the evil and forgetful DM stripped them from all magic items and equipment by cheating.
