Men'Thar-Glory to the Dragonknights

Kharsin listened with mounting horror to the toll of experienced soldiers lost so far. However, taking an iron control over his thoughts, he quickly asked the question that had occured to him, before they were ushered out: "Sir, a question, if I may. Do we have any definite knowledge that these men reached Greenwahl? Or must we search the path to the city as well?"

Sir Kazstead shook his head, glaring down at the table. "We have no idea exactly what route they took. It is almost certain they took the road that goes from St. Pox to Kaynor, and turns direct to Greenwahl, but you can't be sure. As for Sir Dormon, he flew there, so he'll be impossible to track."

Kharsin turns to the rest of the group and says "Then we'll probably have to start our search in Greenwahl. Are we ready to go?"

<So quickly? Well, this is not entirely unwelcome... I surely would not have enjoyed a full day away from training,> he thinks, a little ashamed of his eagerness.

"Greenwahl's a good choice, Kharsin. Anyone else have any queries?" Getran asks the others, who had simply been listening up till now.

Ladt Even del Dray

"With Amunia's blessing we will find these missing warriors and if necessary extract a righteous vengeance" Lady Even swears, her voice tight with tension "Have you had any indication that things have gone awry in Greenwahl other than the missing warriors? For example, has the suply of steel slackened off at all in recent months? Are you seeing less merchants travelling from the village?" Even asks reverently.

Kazstead stops for a moment, thinking, and then leans forward and replies, "Now that you mention it, we haven't gotten any steel from Greenwahl in weeks, and in truth, noone ever comes from there anymore. I do believe something very foul is at work there, rebellion even..."

Lady Even

Lady Even draws a deep breath in shock, this is a problem that deserves immediate attention she thinks to herself "We should get on with the mission as a matter of some urgency" she suggests to her fellow Knights "Is there anything else we need to know?" she asks Sir Kazstead

"There is no time for delay- we must go and see to this lawlessness at once!" Kharsin is almost vibrant with anger at the thought of a rebellion happening within the land he has sworn to protect. "Let us depart with all haste!"

Waiting a little longer to see whether there was any more to add, Getran eventually nodded in agreement with Kharsin.

"It seems an appropriate time to get ourselves equipped for what could be an operation of extended duration. I'll meet you all in front of the Dragon Lair," Getran told his colleagues, and went to get prepped for his first official operation.

Toven acquiesces to the others as they speak, surely something was afoot in the Greenwahl that the government hadn't picked up on, whatever it was, there must have been signs, few nations were so lax and Amun was rarely ever so. "What native populations reside near Greenwahl?" Toven inquires, wondering more along the lines of the less civilized of races.

After waiting for a reply to Toven's question, Kharsin nodded sharply, then spun around and walked out the door. Hurrying to catch up with Getran, he fell into step beside him. "So much for just wanting to offer us congratulations, eh? Well, it was still a good guess." Kharsin walks on quietly for just a moment, then continues, "I will be ready to leave within the hour. How long do you suppose it will take the rest of the crew?"
