Metamagic rod of quicken

Question

First Post
If my understanding is correct, you still cannot use the rod to quicken metamagicked spontaneous spells due to the casting time, unless you are using metamagic specialist?

On that note how would you price a rod that allows you to quicken infinite spells per day, for its lesser/normal/greater versions?

I can achieve a similar effect with multiple rods anyway. Back to the first question though........?

You would have to buy an infinite number of rods ... or at least enough to last you through every encounter you have. If you face four encounters and each one lasts five rounds, you're burning through twenty uses, or seven rods.

The cost would be (base cost + 24 x 1.5 x base cost). Base cost is the cost of one metamagic rod of quicken of the appropriate type.

1 coin more than you have.

Seriously, why even ask this question? You might as well ask "how much would it cost for an item that lets me win all battles". It's a hypothetical question with as no sane DM would allow it.
