Tak takes a defensive stance [expertise for 1] and positions himself at the south of the group, ready to handle the orcs coming from that direction [ready action to attack any orc that gets within melee range].

Round 1

Qaridas and Therion fire arrows in unison.

Qaridas shoots an arrow toward one of the north orcs, but it flies over the orc’s head, missing.

Therion shoots an arrow at the human to the east and his him in the left shoulder, he yelps in pain (3 damage).

The orcs to the north and south run toward the party covering 40 feet. They are now at a range of about 20 feet. The orcs to the east and west seem to be holding their actions.

Tak takes a defensive stance and positions himself at the south of the party.

The three orcs to the west run toward the party covering 40 feet. They are now at a range of about 20 feet. One of them seems to be the leader as the other two are slightly behind his position.

Tashki begins casting her spell as the dworg and orcs to the east begin advancing.

The dworg starts to head toward the party followed by the orcs, but then looks at the rock formation for a moment. Then he turns and cuts one of the orcs near him in half with a large bladed weapon (13 damage). As the other five orcs see this they turn to attack the large dworg. But as they come closer to attack, he cuts down three more of them with his large weapon (12, 14, 16 damage). The other two get through and swing their bladed weapons at the dworg. The dworg is able to dodge one attack, but the other catches him in his left leg. (6 damage).

Tashki’s spell goes off about this time and the two remaining orcs and the human drop to the ground. The dworg is unaffected by the spell.

Regan and Tozin can redo their moves at this point if they wish, given the recent turn of events.

Tozin faces the Eastern group, swiveling his head to watch the North and South groups. He plants his feet firmly and raises his staff, preparing for the rest of the charge.
(OOC: Ready an attack against the first orc to get close enough.)

As the orcs near his position, Qaridas drops his bow and draws his sepis, attacking the first orc from the north to move into his reach.

Trying to keep his composure as the orcs charge forward, Therion fires another arrow at the human that he hit moments ago.

Regan seems very unsure of what to do next since his apparent enemy is now turning on the orcs. (ooc: he will spend the first round kind of perplexed at what is happening. he will move to engage the first group of orcs that is in range for his second round action)
