Having no idea what the dworg is saying, Therion turns to the rest of the group. [Erenlander] "It might be a good idea to get away from this area," [/Erenlander] he says looking around at the dead orcs.

Orcish

Tozin has orc as one of his languages, so he can understand the dworg.

Therion has orc pidgin as one of his langauges, so he can understand the dworg.

Qaridas has black tongue as one of his languages. The orc language is very complex this would include the pidgin. Black tongue is very simple (so all the minions of the shadow can speak it). Thus Qaridas cannot understand the dworg.

All of the others have no idea what the dworg is saying.

OOC: Ooops, my bad. I forgot I had Orcish Pidgin.

IC:
[Erenlander] "The dworg is evidently friendly. He apparently has seen the rock formation in his dreams like the rest of us. His name is Kuk." [/Erenlander]

Turning to the dworg, Therion says, [OrcishPidgin] "Me Therion. Us friends. All us saw bird rock in dreams." [/OrcishPidgin]

[Erenlander]"Well, that's nice to know that he seems to be on our side. We should all probably begin to move away from here though as I'm sure somebody was aware of this detatchment."[/Erenlander] As he begins to ensure that all of his things are in order, he thinks to himself. "This is great. Just one more of the group who speaks yet another language."

With no obvious place to go, Tozin turns to Kuk. [Orcish Pidgin] "How you and others know to be here now? More orcs near? " [/Orcish Pidgin]

Kuk turns to Tozin, "Just patrol. No others. Camp far there." The dworg points northeast.

As you all decide your next move, a sudden slumber comes over all of you. You all have a dream. In the dream you see yourself and the six others of you (this time complete with faces) around the rock formation. The formation begins to flow into something different. It changes into a roughly humanoid being bathed in light. He speaks to your group and each of you can understand him, "Welcome travelers. I am the Watcher. I have called you together. I am bond to this place and cannot leave. But I will be able to guide you on your travels. Each of you have unique gifts that you can use to foil the plans of the shadow. Together you will be a force to be feared by the shadow's forces. This place is holy ground and thus the dead will not rise. Here is a gift for each of you." He gives each of you a stone talisman on a leather necklace. The talisman is a miniature replica of the bird in flight stone formation. "Each of these has been crafted specifically for you. They should aid you on your quest. For now head east to the town of Paol. Seek out Gerald the smith. He is a friend. Tell him 'The Watcher says the time has come' and he will help you." The figure touches each of you. "You are now healed of any damage you sustained in your battle. You may rest here without fear of attack, but make your way to Paol as soon as you can." The glowing man changes back to the rock formation and then you all awake. Each of you is now wearing a stone talisman around your necks just like in your dream. Those that were injured during the battle are now healed. You all awake near the rock formation.

Searching through the dead you find a total of 36 days of rations, 13 bardatch swords, one longsword, 14 sets of scale mail, 12 peasant's outfits, 2 traveler's outfits, one bedroll, 14 backpacks, 14 waterskins, 3 torches, 2 sacks, flint & steel, and an ax.

Game stuff: Everyone is now 2nd level. Head over to the OOC thread and we can take care of thing there.

Glancing around at her stiring companions, Tashki fingers her new Necklace. Calling to the spirits she channels a Detect Magic spell and spends time examining the talisman.

She then casts her gaze over her fellow dream travelers, the Bird like Carin and finally to dead foes.

Waste not, want not. She whispers to herself in Jungle Mouth.

Regan wakes from his sleep refreshed for the first time in a very long time. Something about the formation and the dream seemed very calming. After donning his armor and gathering his things, he touches the talisman in order to see if he was given something in his strange dream. He's almost surprised to find that he did indeed have the item given to him in the dream. Looking around the camp, he finally breaks the morning silence. [Erenlander]"So we need to be on our way now. Is everybody ready to leave and begin our journey?"[/Erenlander]

Qaridas watches Tashki for a moment as she communes with the spirits. Waiting until she seems to be finished he approaches her and says, [junglemouth]"Sister, I would learn from you the ways of the spirits, if you would agree to teach me."[/junglemouth]

While I am not learned enough to be a Speaker for the Spirits, I can show you how to listen. Maybe they will teach you the way. Tashki replies in Jungle Mouth. This trip to Paol should give you enough time to hear their voices. It may be dificult, being out of the Whipsering Woods. But if you truely wish to hear them, you will.

Tashki smiles encouragingly at Qaridas, and makes preperations for the trip.
