Are you saying this thing's going to fly off the shelves? :D
I wanted to make sure that after a 45 minute trek to my store, we have what Joe wants.
I think it will sell better than most of us retailers anticipated. I have already ordered a restock, but that won't be in until Thursday.
I only had a few minutes to look at it, but Midnight looks good. And the concept is great!

Hehe, thanks for the kind words. I was just being shameless, not driving for plugs. :D I do hope it sells well and people enjoy it, I'm itching to do more supplements for the setting, including a series of regional books.

I hope we see a lot of these.

Well, I hope y'all are happy. :p

Not having my book, I was forced last night to dream about going down to the FLGS and looking at a copy there. While there I saw a new product that I hadn't heard of before but that was in the Midnight line...man I hope I can convince Chris to do that one...:D

I think you mean Spellcasting, not Spellcraft, cause we would never make a feat with a skill's name. ;)

You are correct sir! I will edit the post!

Thanks for the hard work that went into this Wil (and any of the rest of you that may read this post)!

Wil, I just bought my copy and I've read about half of it. Nice work on the book -- it has been entertaining to read. But I was left with some big picture questions. (I have not completely read the book so I apologize if these answers are in there somewhere).

Its clear from the stuff I have read so far that Izrador has almost completely crushed human culture and is on the verge of crushing the various cultures of the fey. Initially, Izrador's war was a war of conquest. Now my impression is that he is no longer making war (except with the elves and dwarves) and now his minions have settled in for an occupation of some kind.

It seems that Izrador has stopped his war after successfully erradicating human culture (in most cases) but he has left many humans alive. My impression is that they now cling to survival like vermin. What does Izrador plan to replace human culture with? Is his goal simply extermination? If so, why did he stop actively killing them?

Or does keeping humans around serve some other purpose for him? If he plans to keep humans around, what sort of culture does he expect them to adopt? Will he promote a return of some of the hallmarks of civilization (coinage, trade, cities)? Or does he have some other vision? Or has he essentially forgotten about the humans already?

Related question: why does he hate humans so much? If he craves power, why destroy the civilization that he seeks to rule? Or are the humans simply in between Izrador and some greater purpose?

Got my copy in the mail today and from what I have read so far, it is one rockin' book! There's nothing like having a world where heroes are rare (instead of appearing behind every tree). This one's bound to be a huge hit. Grab a copy if you get a chance. I doubt you will be disappointed.

Pat yourselves on the back for this FFG! Well done! :)
