Midnight campaign setting interest?

I have been craving a game set in Fantasy Flight Games' Midnight Campaign Setting. Has anyone perused this excellent sourcebook and its supplements? Would anyone be interested in playing, or perhaps even DMing, such a game?

I'm definitely interested in playing, having been a fan of the setting but not having many opportunities to play. Count me in.

If someone else is interested in DMing a game, that would be great. I'd be happy to, if no one else offers, but unfortunately I can only post about 3-4 times a week, and it would not be very combat heavy. If anyone else would like to . . . feel free to take the reigns!

I'll go ahead and give this thread a couple more days. It looks like there is enough interest to start a game, and if no one else mentions an interest in DMing, I'll start up a new OOC Midnight set-up thread this weekend. How 'bout it?

Ignorant interest

Howdy all,

I've never heard of Midnight, however, I may be interested in playing. I'm willing to learn pretty quick and would be able to post about 3-4 times a week. This would be my first PbP game, I've actually never thought about playing like this before, sounds interesting.

Would I need a Midnight book or could I wing it with your help?

I completely understand if you guys would want someone more familiar with the setup. Let me know if you guys would like another player or if your set "as is".

I would highly reccommend looking through some of the Midnight material first over at Fantasy Flight Games or Against the Shadow. The setting uses nonstandard races, classes and spellcasting. At the very least, you should familiarize yourself with the character creation rules.

On the other hand, you would still be welcome to join if you decide to submit a character. Midnight is an immersive, unique setting, but I am sure that if you decide to play that the rest of us can help you out or answer any questions in the meantime.

In any case, I hope you do look at the material, and pick up the core setting book. Midnight is definitely one of the best campaign settings around.

It looks like we are the only ones, and no one has voiced a particular interest in being the DM. So, I will take on the mantle.

In the next few days, I will prepare the game, and submit a new post to the board. Be on the look out!
