Think you mean use not sue, B-cup. Will and the FFG guys don't need lawsuits. They can barely make it around the word "law"! ;)

I wasn't trying to convince you. You came here and asked a question, I told you where you could find the answer. If you're not interested, don't play it. If you are interested, don't ignore the answers to your questions.
But Will, you didn't answer my questions. You said I should go read two other message boards to get them answered. I don't have time to do that. I asked the question here, because I wanted someone to answer me here. That doesn't seem unreasonable.

And I'd like to thank all the folks who actually have taken the trouble to answer me, because they've given me all sorts of ideas.

Buttercup, I would like to thank you for posting your question about Midnight. It's helped me clarify certain things in my mind. As cluttered as mine is, that's quite the benefit for me. :D

:D

I can type a post faster than I can kill a PC!

Well.... maybe not that fast.

I hope we gave you something you can use, Buttercup.

Yeah, yeah. So I can't spell. :p

Anyway, I guess my issue with Midnight is that, as written, there isn't any real hope of making people's lives better, and there are no rewards. Comparing it to Star Wars helped a lot.

As some folks have pointed out, I can change anything I like. But I'm sort of hoping for a campaign setting that I don't need to tinker with too much, so I was hoping to hear reasons why I could run a campaign in this world and not have my players all throw up their hands in despair. I think that Crothian is probably correct and it isn't the setting for us. Joshua, I'll see if I can't find Dawnforge and give it a look.
