Wow! Am I the only maintenance guy?

USAF

I fix the instrument and flight control systems (previously G/C) on the BUFF (B-52).

Hey, UnDfind,

Saw your "location" note, and judging by your airframe of note, I'm going to guess you're at Barksdale? If I'm right, I hope it's a good cookie. :)

Before I traded my stripes for bars, I was a Life Support tech, so almost maintenance.

Taloras,
I didn't notice your reply to my earlier post, sorry for not answering sooner. I'll be at Tinker for 3 years or so. My brother, who lives in OKC has saved a seat for me at his table. I'll get out there in early July, so drop me an e-mail sometime after that if you still need a player.

don't know of any living campaigns going on there, but I do have info on a D&D group in Seoul if you want it...

Stuff

I'm an ex- of two British armed forces; Royal Navy (Radar) and British Army (Infantry). Been a looooong time since I was in uniform though.

I figured I'd post the full Brood active and former military list.
I had over 10 years with NBC in the US Army. Put out due to line of duty injuries.
Kerrick is currently with the WA State National Guard as a wire-head. I met him at Ft. Hood.
Platehead is currently serving in Iraq. (3 years so far) Not bad for a little brother who always thought I was an idiot.
Rapidfire is an Ex-Medic (4 years), now staying home with 4 kids and married to Platehead. (She met Platehead at Ft Hood)
Heather is a former 8 year Combat Medic with time in Desert Storm and a few other crappy places. (We met at Ft Hood)
Lurch is in Maintenance (15 years), and I'm not sure if he's deployed or home. (Ft Hood AGAIN!)
Bishop is a former Army Ranger now assigned to National Guard Duty. (6 years) I met him on signup boards again, after running into him in some of the most god forsaken places.

Funny, if they had called up IAR, extensive National Guard and the Disabled List, all but ONE of The Brood would have gotten deployed.

ANd Hellhound wouldn't be staring at so many products trying to figure out how to fit them into his schedule.
Of course, if 1/2 of use hadn't gotten deployed or otherwise occupied, 5 manuscripts would be finished. :/

I salute a fellow commo-geek! As well as a fellow servicemember who was interred, I mean stationed, at Ft. Hood! What unit were you assigned in "the land where the clouds are higher than the sun?"

13th Sig, 1st Cav. I liked 13th Sig, but I HATED the Cav.
