second session last week (level 4). only paladin and monk available but got player at last moment so he ended up playing my NPC cleric
slight adjust to the plot as they now escorted the priest in to investigate and take over the temple. they did find a crypt full of undead which they cleared and the next adventure will be answering a call for help from their freind the priest as he unearths more about the temple
using the same setting is working quite well. i now have two flipchart sheets with the outer wall and door (first week), and the entrance hall of the crypt / temple (second week) which i can re-use for the next week with no preperation required

I've been winging the background to try and make it a little more interesting for the players and some of the players are now asking if this will be my new homebrew setting! Its a little more militaristic / high fantasy than my current setting but that might be a nice change. it also means i can bring in some more oriental / honour concepts and play with them...
