[MINI] Distribution of Rares/Uncommons in D&D Miniature game

A couple more tidbits of information from Jeremy Mueller/GameHorizons:

I said about 30 rares. They didn't have an exact number.

I don't know the rarity of the minis, but I do know that the PC type minis will be rares, and will feature better paint jobs. The idea is to service D&D players wanting monsters with these products.

That's about all the information I have.

Another rumour on the thread implies that they'll be "hard polystyrine not polyvinyle unlike wizkids figs."

WotC boards Miniature thread

Cheers!

Gaming Report has confirmed the information on distribution with WoTC.

"There will be 8 figures in the Expansion Pack ($9.99) with 1 rare, 3 uncommons and 4 commons. 16 figures in the Entry Pack ($19.99) with 1 rare, 5 uncommons, 10 commons."

Thaumaturge.

the best way to do this is to run a secondary market bit in your shop surely? that way you'll get the pick of what you want, and people will buy the minis and sell what they don't want to you!
