Here's the costs of the pieces for the wardrobe system:

I only buy PAX stuff during Ikea's "PAX Days" sales event, which seems to come up several times a year. I think its a 10% discount on all PAX stuff.

I was on a bit of a budget (had to save my money for buying miniatures) so I would buy about 6 drawers at a time. Those tray drawers are very popular items though, so my "choice" to only buy 6 was often made for me due to the lack of stock availability.

The PAX wardrobe system is quite well built though. I have another unit for storing my gaming supplies. I have entire drawers full of cards and other heavy items and have had zero problems. (Note: when I assembled these deep drawers I also used carpenter's glue to help give it more strength.)
