Miracle 3.0

Sounds like it should work fine as long as you don't Jaunt until he casts Imprisonment.

However, since you are dueling and since jaunt has limited duration he might just wait you out. Depends on whether the DM allows him a spellcraft check to differentiate between Invisibility and Jaunt (he won't see the casting since it is contingency activated). I am assuming he does not have a permanent See Invisibility.

If he readies an action to strike at you if you appear next to him what is your plan? If you appear some distance away he can charge and attack. What then?

Ask your god for a better DM? ;)

Seconded. It should not be "Crouching Harm, Hidden Imprisonment"

Seriously, how about asking the gods (or your god, whatever) for a permanent protection from evil effect or something?

Or ask for the "Miracle of Freedom" - which makes you immune to Imprisonment.

Thanks for the help. He wont wait it out, because first hes rash and second i dont plan on hiding forever.
Second, there is no gift of freedom with my DM.

Why not pull an antimagic field. He shoulkdn't be too melee heavy. 46 average hit points? with no buffs, I sneeze in his general direction!

he has 180 hit points. He also has a crossbow that he can be cheap with and just teleport away and keep shootin once he gets out of my anti magic field.

It should be pretty hard for him to get out of your anti-magic field if you grapple him. I would go for quickened harm followed by anti-magic field. With your haste action go for the grapple. If you don't have quicken, just cast both spells. If he does anything except move away, then you'll get an attack of opportunity. If he just moves away you'll be able to charge him on the following round.

Even if he somehow manages to get away he won't be able to kill you in the 16 rounds it takes your anti-magic field to drop.

Of course, if you lose initiative, you may want to go a bit more defensive. Bead of Kharma followed by Spell Resistance should give you SR 33. He'll jave to roll a 15+ to hurt you. Even with Greater Spell Penetration he'll still need a 11+. I like those odds myself. :)

How the heck does this guy have 180 hps? Even if he had max hps for his levels he'd need +7 modifier to get 180 hps. You know with antimagic shield he'd lose any +con items and I still don't see how he's gonna have 18 con and thats assuming he had a +6 con item or a spell. Also you know his spell buffers don't stack with his +con items?
