Hey I just realized something I should have a long time ago... The coinage for Dragonlance is very weird. Do you want me to run around with worthless Steel Pieces for the fun of it? If so I can redo my wealth later today with it.

Don't think I would be totally broke as GP are worth allot less than SP so my guy would technically be richer in Ravenloft, but would in all honest not be carrying around allot of GP.

I don't mind the work and think it would add more to the RP experience.

I was kind of figuring you had the worthless steel pieces, and only a little bit of gold (I don't know much about DL, but THAT I've talked about with lots of folk).

The Townsfolk are not a toy! FWIW, this is a really interesting development. Don't feel like the adventure requires you to act any particular way. If you feel like you just have to kill some townsfolk, go ahead. May make things difficult down the road, though . . .

FYI, you're thinking 9 warrior at least 3, 1 warrior at least 6, 1 rogue at least 6 in the street. "Warrior" could be any fighting class.

Plus a 8th level fighter/knight and a 6th level bard/ranger... :(

Snipehunt, does the sheriff seem like a "good guy" or does he seem corrupt and evil. Just a gut check and it has nothing to do with my combat intentions and all to do with my diplomacy check I want to try...

I don't like to give out that info, even OOC but - some things are hard to convey PbP. I'll sum up what I was trying to convey about him:

It appears that he must be lawful, as his troops are well-ordered, seem to obey his commands, and obviously know that he imposes discipline. Also, he wasn't letting his troops get away w/ some minor graft. So, probably not corrupt. He is an authority figure - maybe the authority figure - in town.

Evil? Unclear. If he is, he isn't a darklord-type of bwa, ha, ha evil. But he isn't going out of his way to help people clearly suffering from some sort of injustice. I'm trying to imply that he's basically what's holding this town together at the moment (probably not very well at this point - you guys don't know the stakes yet, or what's going on.)

Also, b/c I'm not sure how well people know ravenloft, unjustified assaults, esp. against govt. types, generally lead to powers checks . . .
