D&D 5E Missing APs To Aquire?

Zardnaar

Legend
Well 5E is winding down. Just wondering what APs to pick up before they disappear. More or less stopped buying around Witchlight.

They are for mining purposes. Probably won't run any Golden Vault might be an exception.

Ones I'm considering possibly second hand.

Storm Kings Thunder
Keys to Golden Vault

Cheap (Read low priority)

Descent into Avernus

I missed the Waterdeep books and spotty after Icewind dale. Used to get them essentially free.

The 5E Campaign books I've really enjoyed (and often have DMed multiple times):
  • Tyranny of Dragons
  • Storm King's Thunder
  • Waterdeep: Dragon Heist (it's a mess, but there's enough there to make it interesting to fix).
  • Curse of Strahd

I think Princes of the Apocalypse and Out of the Abyss are on my second tier. Not ones I have a compelling reason to go back to.

I haven't run Icewind Dale or Wild beyond the Witchlight.

Cheers,
Merric

I've played through Storm King's Thunder and there is a ton of gaming material there (a lot of it purely optional). It's a good value for your money, I think.

I've both played through and run Curse of Strahd. It's fun, but there are some parts that need to be reworked as a DM, IMO (notably, I dislike the way the Amber Temple is presented and some of the writeups in Castle Ravenloft are poor).

PoA has been great for me to mine and I enjoyed levels 1-5. Out of the Abyss kinda pants (I own it).

I ran Curse (the original version for 5E) and played Dragon Heist. I'd recommend both of them.

Tomb of Annihilation was by far my favorite. The hexcrawl part was hit or miss, but some of the locations/encounters were very good. And the mega-dungeon at the end was A++, especially for those of us who remember Tomb of Horrors fondly. It channeled everything unsettling and deadly about that module while still feeling fresh and surprising.
