mithril and adamantine?

Not a problem whipping out the Rule-0 pen... or even ignoring the above entirely! ;) Obviously, the discussion didn't even convince everyone on the thread that it was right! Which is fine, since everything is proceeding forth from some rather arbitrary assumptions. :)

Just thought I'd include it because AFAIK, that's the most detailed attempt to treat adamantine around (including the treatment of ore vs. pure metal - something I won't take credit for). You may disagree (in fact you probably will) with parts of it, but at least you have one framework for trying to fit your head around adamantine. Use it or discard it as you please - it sure ain't canon. :D

You could always make it as expensive as diamond considering the root of the word.
