Mithril Hall

O.K....here is the story. I plagarized alot of ideas for my current campaign from Salvatore's new sereis...Thousand Orcs and Lone Drow. I am adding in the classic series G1-3..as I am having the players go after the Giants, in a race to keep them from joining the assaulting Orcs....My question is, does anyone have a close up, or has a closeup of the environs around Mithril Hall ever been designed? You know...Keepers Dale, the road to the doors where the Dwarves are making their stand etc....I have it in my imagination, but cannot draw a straight line and do not have the patience or funds to get a cartography program....so I was wondering if anyone knows if it is out there anywhere....

Thanks from the rainy province of De La Warr

Karen Wynn Fonstad's Atlas of the Forgotten Realms has maps of Mithril Hall and Settlestone. I think it has a map of the environs as well (Forthpeak and all that) but I have the book packed away right now and can't confirm.

As Davelozzi stated, Fonstad's Atlas is what you are looking for. Also Profantasy included alot of Fonstad's Atlas as CC2 maps in the CD archive Forgotten Realms atlas and this would save you the mapping required.

Pages 82 to 85 of the Atlas have the maps of Mithril Hall and there is one map that shows Settlestone to Keeper's Dale, but there is no actual close up of Keeper's Dale. There is a map of the ruin of Settlestone, but not what it would have been after the barbarians after the time of Halfling's Gem resettled Settlestone.

So unfortunately not exactly what you were looking for and I don't think any artist has tried to map/picture/paint the environs right in front of Keeper's Dale.
