Yeah, Sox came out strong. I'm glad the Twins got 1-up on the Yanks too.

It sucks that Fox will have the World Series again though. Tim McCarver is AWFUL.

Worried about Pedro today. Timlin looked like his 2003 postseason self yesterday, and I hope he builds on that. I like having Lowe in the bullpen. Over the course of the season, he had a bunch of games in which he was dominant for about three innings and then gave up about 64 runs in the fourth through sixth innings before Francona finally pulled him. Middle relief to setup sounds just about right for him this postseason.

Go Twins! (but take at least four games to beat the Yankees so that Santana can't pitch three times in the next series, okay?)

Nice to see the strikeout-throw out double play. Doesn't quite make up for Bellhorn falling asleep on second with the bases loaded, but nice.
