Ahh poor Wulf, dont' get your hopes up--Eridanis and I are THESPIANS not lesbians--so we won't be putting on much of a show. And where's the fun in observing...JOIN IN! (And I know that would've worked much better if you still thought Eridanis and I were lesbians, but we are not :D) You know you want to play in my Of Sound Mind game...it's full of psionicy goodness...

*whines*Piratecat, make him play in my game!!!!

*hides from the vindicative world of hurt that P-kitty promised him for whining*

Oh those April Fools shennanigans were ever so much fun.

I will be able to make it...

How do things look as far as DM/Player balance? I could run a D&D scenario, but I'd like to play as well (especially PC's Feng Shui game).

If I get my butt in gear, I might run a d20 spy game... CoC D20 has all the weapons rules I need for a modern game. I might pick up Spycraft, too and see if anything needs merging.

Welcome aboard! :)

It's up to you but check the first page to see what is already running. W've still got a table or two that can be used by another DM. Let me know what you'd like to do most. :)

Cool, I'd pay extra to watch a couple thespians goin' at it.

Mark, count me in as an observer. I'll tag along with Eridanis, dinkeldog, and Painfully, and come prepared to jump into any game that needs a player or a DM.

Wulf

Very good, Mister Ratbane. Please, set your "Laser-gator" to stun... ;)

Game summary eh? Well right now I'm thinking about running a conversion of the Legend of the Five Rings module Mirror Mirror for my Wheel of Time game. It was run for the L5R tournament at Origins '99 and is a horror type intrigue/RP game that basically beat everyones ass. In fact, Alderac rejected it for print because it was so scary and tough (or so they say). I'm going to try to keep it at the level of the players though so its will be a difficult challenge, but doable.

I still need to decide when to set it in the WoT timeline. Rereading the books right now, but i'm not super familiar with them. I anticipate each player will be in an Aes Sedai assisting role with one player the A.S. Of course each player has his own agenda as well. Havent decided if teh A.S. will be working for Rand, the Little Tower, or Eliada yet. Of course if the players get to be before i read that far i'll work the adventure around what they want.

Again, i'll update when i know more, but right now i'm more concerned with the game i'm running this Sunday.

Hmmm, suppose I need one, too.....

For the afternoon Call of Cthulhu game:

O.K., you're college students* at....uh...mmmmm....Miskatonic University**. And, uh......one of your professors*** has just, um.....uh.....gotten back from an expedition to....uh....Antarctica****. And he's acting a little weird.

*substitute any occupation from the 1920s, if desired
**substitute any location related to said occupation in eastern New England
***substitute any acquaintance related to said occupation
****substitute the most remote (but intriguing) location possible given said occupation.

That'll have to do until I get back home. :)

For the moment, sign me up for Game 7, the Pkitty Feng Shui game. The other slots look fairly open for now, and there are lots of Dm's without too many players, so I'll hold off on offering to run something right now, although I may change that as we move forward.

Updated! :)

Barendd/Roland- You guys are crackin' me up. :D

Kid Charlemagne- Done and done... :)

Mark,

Well, I don't have a game summary for Deadlands because, well, I don't know what the adventure's going to be. I can give you a generic one, though.

Strap on yer six-guns, bless yer crosses, and kiss yer horses goodbye! It's cowboys vs. cultists, men vs. magic, and heroes vs the horrific! Journey back into a Wild West unlike any you've heard of before! Deadlands: The Weird West is run by a GM with three years of Deadlands-specific experience. Players may choose from a large assortment of pre-generated characters, or come prepared with a character of their own (per GM approval).

Damn, this little gameday is all grown up now! Should we start to compete with GenCon? Maybe "Screw GenCon, Chicago Gameday Rules" t-shirts? (/sarcasm)

Well, as the bumper sticker says, I'm a lesbian trapped in a man's body.

My crass comment aside, this is really shaping up to be a lot of fun! Thanks, Mark, for organizing this GameDay again!

[shameless plug /on] If you really want to see *thespians* going at it, you can come see MACBETH opening tomorrow night in Downers Grove, IL (I play Macduff). Murders, swordfights, and spellcasting; a good time will be had by all! www.groveplayers.com for more info! [shameless plug /off]
