Barendd: If its in jolly ol' England can you set me up with a paranormal investigator type? Like John Constantine, but with a .44 mag revolver and a crumpled fag always hanging from his lip.

If in New England, hmm i'm kinda drawn towards that old grizzled guy in pet semetary, but he probably wouldn't work so whatever. Something with knowledge of the mythos so i dont accidentally slip and metagame everytime I say something.

Summary for the Wheel of Time game: Being a Borderlander was simply too stylish. Or at least so said the Carheinen courts. And while Lord Agelmar Jagad was a great warrior, Shienar needed supplies too desperatly to deny hosting a 'fashionable' Carheinen fete' within his walls. Luckily Agelmar's friend King Paitar was able to convince his sister, Kiruna Sedai, that the lives of these courtly fops were important..........

Piratecat - In case Talvisota's wife goes into labor while at the event, you will be in charge of boiling the water and shreading the newspapers. Not sure what good that does, but I've seen a lot of old movies.

Dude, I'm pretty sure you're thinking of hampsters, gerbils and guinea pigs. In any event, make sure to save a place in one of my games for the midwife.

"Roll the dice to see if I'm giving birth!"

I will be riding down with my other half, so I figured I would let you know what that I would be coming, and what I would be doing. I will do the breakfast thing, and try the psionic adventure (though dragonstar is tempting, I play it enough here), and then for the second half I would like to be in the homebrew group. :)

Mark,

Whatever you do, don't let ghettognome in my Dragonstar game; I wouldn't want to sully its pristine perfection with actual players, otherwise my beautifully crafted story might fall victim to their endlessly meddlesome machinations.

Besides, gnomes are annoying.

*turns around as ghettognome walks in the door* Umm, hi honey! :D

LOL! The story won't fall victim to it. The GM might though ;).
*ponders all the possibilities, then grins evily at the dwarf*

*waves head and hand around* You don't GNO ME!

Jack - Can you please learn Talvisota's language so that his wife has more than one person with which to talk? It would almost ensure that they will be at your table. ;)

Well, she could always be cast as a Wookiee, or the Gamorrean. :p

But I'm afraid my second language is German, not Russian. Though, all of college roommates were Foreign Nationals (An Indian, a Croatian and a Japanese)... Each of them paid me the incredibly high compliment of, "You are very easy to understand when you speak English." It's another story when I speak german. *SHRUG*

Talvisota, are going to be staying in the US, or going back to Khazakstan after the baby is born?

Updated! :)

Roland - Perhaps you can play the feisty young librarian, who's read too much, and has a heart of gold...? :D

PC - I've placed her in both games. Sorry, I hadn't seen her posting and wasn't positive she was coming. Glad to know she is. :)

KidCthuluhu - We have to stop using Kev as a go between. Despite is usually ignoring most of what I post, I think he might be beginning to suspect something. Mumm, mumm... ;)

ghettognome - Excellent! I placed you in the first homebrew but there is another one being run. It won't hurt my feelings if it was your intention to be in the other, so please let me know. :)

d20Dwarf - Will you be taking the train from MN? You just keep it up, Mister! :D

ghettognome - I'm getting the feeling that you've dealt with that fellow once or twice before... ;)

Jack - Careful. You'll give away the surprise of how we plan to place the newborn on the front porch of ColPladoh! ;)

Midwife, Mark! Not wife. Very different; it was a "pregnant gamer" joke. Man, whatever your other sterling characteristics may be, you have no sense of humor! :D

Please remove KidC from both my games; she'll sign up for stuff later once she knows her schedule.

Glad to be involved. So, I take it there are no fantasy slots open for me/us? I'd love to have a chance to actually PLAY D&D as opposed to DMing. It has been my curse since junior high.

Thanks for all of your comments. Indeed, we are taking advantage of FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act) to allow for my wife to give birth in the US. I suppose I will be doing a lot of work by email, or travelling to the HQ in DC a few times.

Then we will return "home" to my job here in Kazakhstan.

BTW, the 23rd is my birthday.

My connection is slow here due to horrid telephone infrastructure, so it is diffucult for me to search through threads for links to sites where you have all of the lists. (If this exists like last Chicago gameday, which I watched develop from afar.)

So please email me, if you would.

Thanks a million,

The first one is just fine :D

And yes I have dealings with this dwarf. :) He would be that other half that I am riding down with. Which half he is changes on a very frequent basis. :D
