Actually, I wasn't metagaming. I came up with Riversplit as his destination exactly for the reasons I gave IC. A town between two rivers is likely to see a lot of trade. That would be an excellent place to look for adventure. I didn't even remember the name of the town you mentioned ealier until I went back and reread it. Just coincidence. But a good one I think.

As far as Arim rushing things, I'm not sure what else to do. I was under the impression that he was ready to go and there was an unspoken acknowledgment with his father that he wouldn't be coming back.

It is early in the day and he has all of his equipment.

He doesn't want to travel at night by himself, but why would he want to get a room at an inn when it is so early in the day? There is a lot of daylight left that he could be traveling in.

Perhaps the other characters can ask him to wait. He would be willing to do that. *shrugs*

Also, you doing great Mario. Don't worry about it. I'm pretty impressed with you guys. I've been lucky enough to have great roleplayers in both of the online games I'm in.

I agree that Mario seems to be as comfortable with the language as any of us. If he hadn't made mention of it being a secondary language, I'd have likely never noticed.

OOC: I don't think I'm supposed to carry armor, weapons and shield to go to the smithy. If the temple is on the way, I'll go and catch my stuff, otherwise I think I'll grab a stick or something.

This is a fine place or in an OOC line under your IC post. I'll sometimes snatch the OOC lines and quote them over here, but placing them over there is fine as well. I just quote them here so that I can make comment on them in between my own posts.

Honestly, I have no idea how to adjudicate that phrase. I'm giving you huge amounts of detail as to the personalities and people that thrive in this community and you think I'm just going to allow you a roll of the dice to find someone else's coin in your character's pocket? Better do a bit better than that, young Ash. I'll need details of the type of thing you plan to do, who or what you plan to do it to, and what skills you plan to bring to bear. After that, it's easy...
