D&D General Modrons invented Rune Magic?

I like it! It's a cool idea, runes are very Law-coded, and it weaves the modrons together with other elements of D&D lore quite well.

1. considering that in most mytih, runes are earned by impaling yourself to the tree of yggrissil, this means that the tree is made up of insane numbers of modrons.
