Exactly.

The initial thread was closed due to repeatedly doing what the mods requested not to do. That hasn't happened in the other thread as of yet.

I think you may be seeing things that aren't actually happening rather than reflecting on whether you could've handled things a bit differently. The idea of your initial thread is not a lost cause, can attempt a more succinct thread that doesn't demand specific instructions for the ability to discuss.

Well, that was quite the twist ending. For what it's worth I thought the mods handled these recent threads well. They are allowing space for '+' threads, but they're also holistically assessing what they are and how they should be used. Seems completely reasonable to me.

Such direct communications to WotC matter little when sent individually, but when collaboratively joined together by a larger community, can create change.
