Very cool.

I'm a big pdf fan but I don't really see getting this one, I'm not that into race books. More into monster, magic, and class books. I am more likely to get it as a pdf than if it were only a print book though.

Interesting. I suspect that you're in the minority with that opinion. I would expect that a lot of people who collect the print versions of the Collector's Series might not see this book as a continuation of that series.

And, there also seems to be a whole group of people who just don't like the PDF format for whatever reason.

I don't understand the people who dislike pdfs. Obviously, as a reviewer of primarily PDF products I have read many pdfs throughly and have had much experience with them. I really like pdf, they have advanteges over print books, but print books also have advantages over pdfs.

Yeah, I agree, Crothian. I have tons of both kinds of products (probably too many, but that's another topic...).

I was just really curious about this Kobold book in particular. I know that there are quite a few people who "collected" the entire Collector's Series just because they were all part of the same series of books and some people are just collectors. I'm really interested to find out whether those same people will get this book, even though it's an e-book.

I also imagine that there is another group of folks who mainly only buy PDFs and this e-Q. Kobold book could conceivably be their first foray into the Quintessential line. It's possible that their other print books might get some sales out of this because of this reason.

Well, if the people from Mongoose happen to read this thread...the pdf reviewer of EN World (Me!!:D) would love a copty for review...Hint...hint....:D

I'm sure I'm in the minority, but pdfs are easier to access for me, the majority of my current gaming is online, and I do a lot of copying and pasting or transcribing for campaign documents. I have a full bookshelf and filing cabinet full of gaming stuff, but I might have more in pdf format. If I can get something in pdf format instead of hardcover it is much more convenient for me.
