(Mongoose) Licences and RPGs

These sound great, owning Judge Dredd et al and how well you have done with the licenses, I am pleased you have got Conan, LW, and the license that can-not-be mentioned. Can't wait to see all of them.
You have some Conan fans over here at MEG!

I would suggest that with Hogshead getting out of the business, WHFRPG and SLA industries are both available and I currently doubt that GW wants to get back into RPG work but that they have at least 2 very very nice properties that have a huge fan base currently. I would hope to see a WHFRPG and perhaps if successful a WH40KRPG down the road.

Most have already been taken by other companies :D

License that cannot be mentioned. Who do you guys think you're kidding? Come on. "MONGOOSE" Publishing. It's been obvious from day one you have been working on a license for Riki Tiki Tavi d20. :D

Conan license eh?

You have any authors on tap yet?

I wonder what Vincent DeLarge is doing these days...

(And at the same time, I fear the future of his excellent site.)

If you fancy taking a gander at what I mean, Armageddon 2089: WarMek and the-game-that-still-cannot-be-mentioned released early next year will show you just what games like this can look like.

This is more interesting when taken with another quote from a freelancing forum:

Mongoose Publishing is currently in need of a couple of freelance CGI artists to work on the new WarMech game line and an as yet undisclosed licenced product.

Great. Just what I need. A second Lone Wolf mailing list to join. :(

Oh well, I belong to so many mailing lists, what's one more. :)

Better than Conan ?

Fafhrd & Grey Mouser d20 ?

I don't believe in Harry Potter d20. Nah. I've heard JK Rowling was, ironically enough, one of the persons biased against RPGs.
