if its english it will have to be D20 Bob the Builder coz D20 Teletubbies is just silly

actually you could do D20 BBC Childrens Department - Bob vs Basil Brush meets The Munch Bunch - Bom bom splaT!!!

It wouldn't be Transformers or GI Joe. Those are owned by Hasbro which owns WotC. It wouldn't make any sense to license those to a third party.

Well, I never watched Alias but my busines spartner, Alex, is a bit of a fan, so when he got the series one box set, I borrowed it. I have just watched the pilot and am, at this minute, halfway through the first episode.

I have to ask, what is the attraction? Why is it cool? Why would an RPG for it be great?
Hot chick kicks ass, makes Wil flip.

Alias has a very hip style to it, from the kickass ultramodern costumes to the slick CIA-style technology and banter. It has an interesting metaplot that continues to evolve, but is still able to pack a lot of action and intrigue into every week's hour. It's not excessively violent, feeling more like a pulp serial than a spy thriller. It has really cool gadgets, a bevy of interesting characters, and a well developed set of organizations and individuals that all seem to be related. SD-6, the Covenant, the Alliance....it doesn't necessarily feel real, but it feels like a great story and a cool setting.

Why would an RPG for it be great? Well, there's the obvious licensing aspect for a hot TV show. The thing could sell as well as an episode guide and inside look as an actual game product. Also, I think there's room for a d20 Modern spy game. Spycraft is great and all, but it doesn't own the spy genre. I personally never get to play it because my group doesn't like the WP/VP system (last time i played it I was running an Alias game at FFG, as a matter of fact :) ).

In any case, hopefully you'll look at the license and go after it, and then hire Sam and I to write it...heck, I think between the two of us we might already have it finished. :)

Not necessarily true. Remember that Hasbro (and therefore WotC) wants higher profit margin products. hasbro is not likely to try a thing unless they expect it to sell pretty darned well. They went with the whole d20/OGL thing specifically so smaller projects could be done by smaller publishers.

So, if they don't think it'll be particularly big, they might still get a few $$ with licensing, for verylittle outlay on their part.
