Monk based PrC, whats the tradeoff?

First Post
I am contemplating a PrC which is pretty monk based. It will continue the monks unarmed attack rate and damage, and levels will stack for stunning attacks per day. (probably be able to enter the class after 5 or 6 straight monk levels) The flavor of the class is pretty different though, with added skills, and a heavy defending aspect to it. I'm also probably only going to do two good saves instead of the monk's three.

But I'm a little concerned about ballance. How big an ability is the monks continued increases to speed? (ie, what would ballance its loss?) Is one less good save worth 2 extra skill points? More? Should I go the other way and base it off an unarmed devoted defender? ugh.

I'll post what I have so far for flavor, requirements and proposed abilities if anyone's interested.

Prestige classes area combination of details, so one cannot say that gaining X balances losing y. I suggest just posting what you have.

Well, very roughly:

The King’s Chosen PrC

Every king is expected to have "companions", and every king is expected to have bodyguards. What assassins and other evildoers often don't except is for them to be the one and the same. But the lovely women who serve one royal family, waiting on the king or singing and dancing to amuse guests are also watching those guests for any threat and stand ready to defend the king with their lives.

The King's Chosen are drawn from the same noble families as champions and generals. The young women are picked early and raised in the palace to be charming, talented and formidable hand to hand fighters. If found to be good enugh, and if they are willing, they serve the king as 'temporary wives'. The child they bear is removed immediately and, if male, raised as an heir. The Chosen then go back into more intensive training to serve and protect the family they are now bound to.
