Monk "weapons"

Is there any way a weapon can be used with a monks UAB(not the three normal) Like a Kukri?or a Katar?

Oriental Adventures lists loads, including Butterfly Sword, Jitte, Lajatang, Quarterstaff, Sai, Tonfa, Three-Section-Staff, and one or two others.

I know, I also know about the Feat in the Drag.))mag. I was wondering if there was anything else? Not much of a matter now, my DM's cleared it (he does Martial arts...)
