Monk: What's it take to catch an episode?!?!

I keep trying to videotape episodes of Monk, but due to sports and stuff on USA Network, the timing always gets screwed up. It's very frustrating, because I'm a new convert to the show, and I've only been able to catch two episodes in their entirety so far (the Playboy-mansion-esque one and the twelve random killings one).

Will Monk be coming out on DVD soon?

Do those DVD rentals--y'know, the ones that say $18 for a month's worth of renting by mail--carry TV-series DVDs?

Are those DVD rental-by-the-month deals any good?

Argh!!!! If it weren't for certain grandmothers, I'd use some of my harshest language.

Monk is a great show. Once the US Open is over you should be able to see it on a more regular basis. The only DVD available from the show so far is the series pilot, as far as I know.

The season's over for this year, so you should be able to pick up the reruns until the next one starts. I don't know if it will begin again in the fall or if it's a summer series. I think it won't be back until the summer, but I'm not certain.

Monk had a few new shows scheduled for the summer, and they're saving the rest for the fall season, at least according to the author of the PvP web comic.

I'd like to catch some of the reruns, but I keep recording all sorts of other stuff. When does this US Open end, anyway?

Hey, if you have broadband go look for episodes on IRC or something, same as taping them off the tv but someone else does the hard work.

Since I live in Canada and since I'm the only one who doesn't have US satellite, I don't catch the US channel, I rely on syndication. I haven't been getting it here, either. They've been broadcasting it Wed. 8 p.m., and that conflicts with Enterprise...

Check http://www.usanetworks.com and go to the schedule at the top navigation bar. They have the schedule for that day along with the days for two months. The next episode appears to be Friday, September 12 at 10:00 PM MONK (R) MR. MONK GOES TO MEXICO.
