Monks and TWF

Caliber

Easy question here folks.

Could a Monk take TWF and Ambidexterity in order to get yet another attack in addition to the one granted by Flurry?

Thanks! :D

From the FAQ (v.08132002, p. 4):

Can a monk get an extra unarmed attack each round by
making an off-hand attack? The monk class description
says making an off-hand strike makes no sense for a monk
fighting unarmed....

There’s no such thing as a monk making an off-hand
unarmed attack, because monks are already using pretty much
their whole bodies for unarmed combat. For unarmed monks,
the flurry of blows ability replaces off-hand unarmed attacks.

Thats what I get for asking a question away from my books. In retrospect, I realize I even knew the answer. Which of courses makes me ask, why did I ask the question?

Thanks anyway. :D
