Monster Builder Info Needed

Hello all, I was just wondering what you need to download to read the monster files from the Monster Builder. Can't seem to find the right one and need to go to work so hope to get a response by the time I get back heh. Thanks again all

Not entirely sure what you are asking. The Monster Builder is online only (can't download it to your computer) and is part of the DDi subscription. You can print out individual entries though.

The old Adventure Tools was downloadable (that worked on PCs only), but a while ago they changed that to an online version so that Mac users could also use it. I still have my old downloaded version for quick use, but have never had a problem reading the files... how are you trying to read them? In the builder, or outside of it?

In the old Monster Builder - the one you download and can use offline - you can right click on a monster and export it as an RTF or, I believe, XML.

Hey again and yeah, I was in a hurry to get to work, but yea, I'm exporting it as an XML. I tried to read it, but nothing could.

Well I was trying to post a monster stat block but I can't seem to get it to do it xD

Have you checked out Power2ool? It's free, and if you have a DDI subscription you can use Power2ool to pull down monsters. I personally like the way it exports stat blocks (though they're images rather than RTF).
