Pathfinder 1E Monster Codex - are you going to buy this book?

the next book in the pathfinder rpg line is Monster codex. Are you buying it? what do you expect?
I have pre ordered it. and I expect lot of fluff. maybe something like monster ecologies. But mostly I expect writing about societies of the monsters and how to roleplay them.

Yes, I'll be receiving it as part of my Paizo subscription. I expect some fluff, but I actually expect more cunch-- monsters with class levels, variant monsters, etc. I think it will prove useful for running PFS (and non-society) adventures when these creatures start rearing their heads.

Yes, I will be getting it (like exile, it's as part of my subscription).

It's unlikely to be useful to me at the moment (I'm not homebrewing), but my hope is that it will be good for random unique encounters.

No, because I don't run Pathfinder and don't have any current plans in that direction. However, if I did run Pathfinder then it would be an insta-buy - a book like this is one of the few things I really wanted for 3e but never saw published (though the last two MMs did something in this line).

I expect a fair amount of fluff, but the real value in a book like this is the huge array of monster stat-blocks - something the DM can do for himself, but something that is a major time-sink.

I think the poll needs more than 2 options. I am not sure I will be purchasing this, I usually wait to see what the public response is indicating the value of the content. I certainly don't purchase every Paizo release and am not a subscriber. If it does include a lot of crunch in creating new monsters or new versions of monsters it will probably be worthwhile. I have no problem inventing the fluff for a given monster or monster race myself, so if it is mostly fluff (ecologies and what not) it would be less useful to me.

got my copy this weekend and like it, there be Goblin Vulture Pilots in my games. Never thought of ghoul as more than monsters as a culture, they are cool.
