Monster database (anything like it exist?)

Here's my dream product for the moment:

I want a database where I can get a list of monsters by CR, but also by environment. For example, I can see all the monsters (from ALL the monster manuals) that are CR2 that are found in an aquatic environment.

Does such a thing exist?

As a product? No.

I do have something like that that I created on my own. However, it's been "tweaked" to fit my campaign, so I don't think it will be all that useful outside of my game (especially if you want one that perfectly conforms to the 3e books and listings, eg. "warm aquatic", which is far too weak in detail for me.)

It's a massive Excel workbook, split into terrain types (any land, plains, forest, hills, mountains, desert, swamp, aquatic freshwater, aquatic saltwater, urban/populated, underdark, upper planar, lower planar, other planar), then listed by frequency (as per the 2e standard). The monsters are then sorted by CR and source, with notes as to the proper climate (arctic, subarctic, temperate, subtropical, and tropical).

Note, though, that I use the 2e (not 3e) listing for terrain and climate whenever possible, as well as the 2e frequency (which was removed in 3e rules). Further, it doesn't include MM3, and it does include loads of monsters I converted to 3e from 2e sources.

It isn't likely what you want if you're just looking for a wholesale lift from the 3e MM.
