Monster Formatting

Nyaricus....ur iggied so why are you posting...I dont read them.

Actually, I'm not sure you do.

Bear with me, as this might get long:

1) Don't be patronizing toward moderators or other posters.

2) Rubbing into other peoples' faces that they are "iggied" (I can only mean you're ignoring the individual, and think it's cute--you saved all of two keystrokes, so speed can't really be the issue).

3) You don't "own" threads. Other people are allowed to comment. If you're "iggy"-ing someone, then feel free--compelled, even--to "iggy" the fact that they've posted.

4) As you're new, you might not know that addressing a moderator's concerns in a thread is an incorrect method. Please contact Henry (or myself, now) via e-mail should you require any further clarification.

5) "ur"? What do ancient cities in Babylon have to do with anything?

You can rest assured that moderators concerns do concern me. I understand where there coming from. On the other hand...I really did iggy that person...so I was just saving them the time of posting since it wont be read by me anyways...afterall, the whole reason they posted was for the gratifications of proverbially shoving a tuning fork up me bum.

At times I wonder if people do take me too seriously. The way I see it, if I dont take me seriously...why should anyone else.

If Im really so offensive...(there is a flipside to this)...they can simply choose to not read anything I post, rather than actively seeking me out so they can go trolling...as they call it.

I do expect the same courtesy from others that they expect from me. I have a massive dislike of hypocrisy. What I post...is quite simply for those who like reading what I post. If they dont like me....then I reitterate...they should ignore me.

I dont go on their posts anymore....so why are they on mine? I find their statements to be just as inflammatory as they find mine to be.

So...simple truce...we all just avoid the posts we find offensive, rather than choosing to read them and then cry moderator. Saves the mosderators time...and it keeps me from getting more gray hairs.

As for those who might be offended by a purely unbiased and honest statement. Im sorry you feel that way. I am who I am and I wont change who I am for anyone. To do so would simply be more fakeness. The world has enough of that.

It seems there are many unresolved issues and were annoying the moderators with our petty squabling.

So...rather than ruin the fun of the forum...Ill refrain from further responses to anyone's commentary. All commentary will be henceforth ignored and only discussed via email, if at all.

As for posting of monsters...Ill get back to that right away.

I overall found the new formatting much more efficient. It's a little more difficult to write up on normal paper freehand, but when formatting on the computer (which is what I do for my final drafts when I design monsters) it's so much more neater, organized, and overall better. The extra flavor text they're providing (Check out MMIV for a better idea of it) is also extremly useful for running a monster beyond a simple encounter and more on a dynamic level.
