The Spriggan was a silly one to leave out. I like spriggans.

Yakmen to Yakfolk

Both pretty stupid to change, but I don't work at WOTC- so maybe they know something I don't.

Same reasons they changed Lizardman to Lizardfolk and Merman to Merfolk. It is politically incorrect apparently. (Not that I care one way or the other...I mean Merman and Lizardman never offended anyone I know or played with...and we still refer to them as mermen and lizardmen. Oh- and sorta OT, in the upcoming Tome of Horrors...we call Mongrelmen Mongrelmen...not Mongrelfolk.)

I think Needfolk and Yakfolk are probably the strangest (and dumbest sounding).

Next thing you know the Dungeon Master's Guide will be renamed to Dungeon Person's Guide or Dungeon Folk's Guide.
